House rules, complete
Five minutes, start to finish. Everything the Table does is written down here; none of it is hidden and none of it is discretionary.
1. What the meter is
The Harvest Table is one shared meter counted in Cedar Chips. It is a scoreboard for the whole hall, not a fund: the chips on it are notional, and awards drawn from it are ordinary Cedar Chip credits with no cash value, like every other chip on Cedarvaux.
2. How it fills
- Every settled winning round on any game adds the win's value to the meter.
- The meter also creeps upward on its own so that quiet hours never stall a season.
- Reaching a setting never rewinds the meter; it carries straight on towards the next one.
3. Place settings and their awards
- Each season publishes its settings in advance, with a fixed award list behind each.
- When the meter reaches a setting, the listed awards go out within minutes.
- One contributor always receives the Harvest Jackpot — the award is never rolled over.
- The account whose settled win carried the meter across the line receives the Last Seat Bonus. Rounds settle in strict order, so exactly one account qualifies.
4. Who is in a draw
- Every account with at least one settled winning round since the previous setting is a contributor to the current one.
- Recipients are selected at random from the contributors. Size of play does not weight the draw: one winning round enters you exactly once.
- Demo play by guests feeds nothing and enters nothing — the Table is laid by members.
5. Credits and the season's end
- Awards are credited automatically; nothing needs claiming and nothing expires while the season runs.
- A season ends at its final setting or when its clock runs out, whichever comes first. The page stays open for three days after, and anything outstanding is credited inside that window.
- A new season, with fresh settings and award lists, is announced in the journal.
6. The boring but important part
- All awards are Cedar Chips. They cannot be exchanged for money, goods or anything else of value, on the site or off it.
- Accounts closed, self-excluded or found running duplicates at settlement time are outside every draw.
- If a technical fault mis-credits an award, we correct the ledger and say so in the journal.
